We invite submissions of abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
Authors are encouraged to submit original work related to the conference themes.

Presentation types

  • Oral presentation: Selected contributions will be allocated a time slot within the scientific program, including time for discussion and questions.
  • Poster presentation: Posters will be displayed throughout the conference, with dedicated poster sessions for interaction and exchange.

How is the abstract submission process?
During the registration process, you will have the option to submit an abstract for either an oral or a poster presentation.
Can I submit more than one abstract?
No, each participant may submit only one abstract, either for an oral or a poster presentation.
Can I submit an abstract by email?
No, abstracts can be submitted only via the online submission services. Any abstract sent by email will not be accepted and automatically returned to the sender.
I have submitted my abstract, but I need to make a correction. What can I do?
If your abstract is saved as a draft, you can modify it before the deadline. After submission, no changes are possible unless you withdraw and resubmit before the deadline. After the deadline, contact events@efbiotechnology.org.
How many presenting authors can one abstract have?
Each abstract must have one presenting author and may include up to 20 authors in total.
What are the poster specifications?
  • Maximum size: 48 x 36 in (121.9 x 91.4 cm)
  • Push-pins provided
  • Include abstract, introduction, methods, results, conclusions, etc.
  • Use clear bullet points instead of long text
  • Figures and diagrams preferred
  • Minimum font size: 14 pt
  • High-quality printing required
What are the oral presentation guidelines?
Oral presentations are 15 minutes total (12 minutes talk + 3 minutes discussion). Sessions are strictly timed.
